Kevin P. Clancy, age 63, a lifetime resident of Collingdale, passed away at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital on July 2, 2026. One of seven children born to the late Joseph and Helen (nee O’Laughlin) Clancy, Kevin spent his formative years on Felton Ave and graduated from Collingdale High School. He took advanced courses in combustion and electric engine and car computer and electronic systems and became the world’s best mechanic.
Kevin was blessed to find a life partner in Diane Fahy who recently preceded him in death after 37 beautiful years together. The ultimate Eagles fan, Kevin often traveled to watch games and especially enjoyed watching the Eagles beat Dallas in Dallas’ stadium. Kevin loved deep sea fishing and pond fishing. His love of fishing resulted in many expeditions to remote areas of Montana and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He had a knack for fixing things and took great pride in helping his family and friends. No matter what it was, Kevin could either fix it or find the best deal to get it fixed.
Kevin was predeceased by his Brothers Joseph and Martin Clancy and Sister Kathleen Modesto and her husband Chuck.
He is survived by three Sisters, Pat Clancy of Glenolden, Mary Clancy (Clarence Nichols) of Lansdowne, and his Twin Sister Karen Clancy Scanlan (Bob Scanlan) of West Grove; Diane Fahy’s children whom he loved dearly, Danny Fahy (Christina) of Glenolden and Brittany Fahy of Drexel Hill; four grandchildren James, Fiona, Aiofe and Nolan; And three generations of Neices and Nephews.
