Kathleen J. Latney, age 85, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother died peacefully at home on October 30, 2020.  Born and raised in Ipswich, England, Kathleen immigrated to the United States at age 22.  She settled in Philadelphia eventually moving to Drexel Hill, PA.  She was the wife of the late Norman Alfred Latney.

Kathleen worked for many years as the cafeteria manager for Our Mother of Sorrows School.  She was very active with our Mother of Sorrows and Christ Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and often volunteered her talents to help those in need. She had a passion for feeding the homeless.  Kathleen looked forward to the changing of the leaves in Autumn.

She is survived by five children Gary Latney (Althea), Caren Latney, Dorreen Spivey (Derrick), Donna Smith, Rene Latney (Crystal) all of Philadelphia; eleven grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.

The Latney family had a private funeral service in memory of Kathleen.
