Kathleen A. Johnston, a longtime resident of Media, PA, died peacefully at home on July 5, 2025 just three days before her 79th birthday. Kathleen was the beloved wife of Clarence and devoted mother of Terry and Gary. She was the daughter of William Kelso and Elizabeth née Halfpenny. Born and raised in Clifton Heights, Kathleen moved to Media area where she graduated from Media High School.  She worked as a graphic artist at the Town Talk newspaper for over 35 years.

Survivors include Kathleen's husband of 59 years, Clarence Johnston; her sons Terry Johnston of Palm Bay, FL and Gary Johnston of Mechanicsville; and grandchildren Oliva, Matthew, and Kevin. She was the beloved sister of John Kelso, Dina Heller, Tootsie Freidly, Betsy Giles, and Mugsy Kelso.
