Karen Ann Windsor (nee Smedley), age 66, recently of Glen Mills and formerly of Swarthmore and Media, passed away on July 28, 2024.

Karen was born in Chester and raised in Media, PA where she resided most of her life. She was a former member of Nativity BVM and a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School (Class of 1975).  Karen continued her studies at Millersville State College and St. Joseph's University.  She worked for Pulmonary Consultants as a billing coordinator for over 34 years.

Karen liked to travel and spend time at the beach.  She adored animals and simply loved to have fun.  She enjoyed playing cards and was a die hard fan of Bruce Springsteen and all Philadelphia Sports.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Smedley, and her step-son, Michael Windsor.

She is survived by her step-children Elizabeth and John Windsor and her grandson Kieran Hill. She's also survived by her aunts Clara Mervine and Peggy Hirth and her cousins Charlene (Robert) Mangano and Philip (Amy) Mills.

Karen's funeral service will be held at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home on Monday, August 5th.  The visitation will be 9:30-11 am.  Her service will begin at 11 am followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery in Media, Pa.
