Obituary

Judith Lynch Seeney, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on April 9th 2025 at age 69.  She was born on January 2nd 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William Lynch and Jean (Omlor). Judith, known by all as Judi, was a Penn State graduate with a degree in Recreational Therapy. Her first job was working briefly in a prominent Philadelphia psychiatric hospital. She was later employed at Reliance Insurance Co. where she received her computer programming training. Soon after, she worked at Delmarva Power and Light. Judi was a great organizer and excellent communicator,  having a gift of explaining the most complicated concepts in the simplest terms. She was fun admired, and respected by her work colleagues.  Judi survived multiple company mergers and advanced herself over 38 years to become an IT Supervisor for SAP Financial Systems at Pepco Holdings LLC. of Exelon.

Judi was the beloved wife of Milton Seeney for 35 years. Their marriage was one full of love, happiness and compassion. In their 35 years together they raised 4 children.  Judi was not just beloved by her family but with her church congregation as well where she was a pillar that community. She was the head of the flower guild taking great pride in decorating the church for Easter, Christmas ,and every other church event. Judi, along with Milton headed the church's youth group for 8+ years organizing youth led church services and the best fun packed, themed lock-ins.

Judi is survived by her husband Milton Seeney, her children, Lee Seeney, Sean Seeney, Elizabeth Curry, Tina Seeney. and all of her siblings, Bill Lynch (Margery), Mark Lynch (Stacie), Andy Lynch and Connie Pressman (Ken); her loving mother-in-law Suki Seeney; and her loving sister-in-law, Sueny Seeney (Rich).

Judi was a fun loving, intelligent, and never afraid of a challenge. She was a beautiful soul with an unforgettable smile. She left a mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She will be forever missed.

Her services will be held Thursday, May 1st, at Christ Episcopal 311 S. Orange St. in Media. Visitation will begin at 9:30am and service will start at 11am.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to the Christ Church Flower Fund or the Christ Church Youth Group.
