Joseph Kerry McCarthy, 63, longtime resident of Glen Mills, PA, died peacefully at his home on August 29, 2020 after a 13 year battle with cancer.  The youngest of 12 children, he was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Catherine McCarthy, of Kennett Square, and his wife, Maria (Schmid).  He is survived by his five children - Megan McCarthy Clark (Christopher), Tina, Kerry, Joseph, Jr., and Thomas McCarthy and his three grandchildren - Robb, Elle, and Will Clark.

In addition to his children and grandchildren, he is survived by seven brothers, Frederick (Cynthia), Justin (Stephanie), Patrick (Marcie), Jeremiah, Albert (Cheryl), Kevin (Anne Marie), and James (Sara), and two sisters, Jeanne (Vincent) Fulginiti, and Mary (James) Cosgrove.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael, and sister, K.C. Kraenzle.

Relatives and friends are welcome to his Visitation at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Media, PA on Thursday, September 3, 6-8pm and on Friday morning, September 4, 10-11am, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11am, also at St. Mary Magdalen Church. Interment will be held privately at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's name to St. Mary Magdalen School, 2400 N. Providence Rd. Media, PA 19063, would be greatly appreciated.
