Joseph E. Jendzeizyk

age 99 years of Middletown Twp. ( Media, PA ) passed away peacefully in his home on August 6, 2025. Born and raised in Archibald, PA. He lived in Wichita, Kansas for 12 years, then moved to Media, PA where he made his home for 61 years. After high school, Joe served in the US Army Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. He was an aerial gunner and completed 31 missions over Germany.  After his service time Joe worked for Boeing as an engineering technician, he retired as a supervisor in 1986.

Joe was a former member of St. Mary Magdalen Parish.  He enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, played with crossword puzzles and liked cooking and was fond of old movies.

He was he husband of the late Monica Jendzeizyk who passed away in 1998. He was father of the late David A. who passed in 2024.

Survivors include his daughter Helena J. McGowan (William McLaughlin) his granddaughter Kate J. VanDonge, 2 great grandaughters Lyla Mae VanDonge and Nora Joe VanDonge, and his daughter in law Linda Jendziezyk.

Service will be Monday evening 8:00 PM  (August 25, 2025) at The Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home  15 E. Fourth St. Media, Pa.

Calling will be 7 - 8 PM before the service.

Burial will be announced after arrangements are completed
