Joseph J. Heumann, age 85, a resident of West Chester, died peacefully on August 3, 2019.  Mr. Heumann was born in Philadelphia and was a longtime resident of Broomall, PA.  A graduate of Drexel University, Joseph obtained his Bachelor's in electrical engineering and worked as a software engineer and manager for Raytheon and Unival.

He was a proud Army veteran and a longtime member of Newtown Square Presbyterian Church. Joseph loved golf, travel, playing cards, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Heumann was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marcia W. Heumann, and his daughter, Lynne Heumann.

He is survived by his children Joseph J. Heumann, Jr. of North Wales, Laurie Lynch (Doug) of Newtown Square, and Andrew Tucker (Maria) of Broomall; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
