John (Jack) Charles Brennan, age 85, passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 18, 1936 to the late John and Dorothy (Nonnamaker) Brennan. Jack was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was married 60 beautiful years to his wife, Rosalie, who he loved dearly. Jack married Rosalie in 1961, after they met and fell in love at the Jersey Shore. Together, they raised their family and resided in Wallingford, PA for 58 years.
Jack graduated from Frankford High School in 1955 and then went on to serve in the United States Army and was part of Operation Hardtack. After completion of his service, he followed in his father's footsteps and joined Prudential Insurance Company where he was a General Manager until his retirement in 1997.
Jack's pride and love for his family was profound. From fun-filled summers in his beloved Cape May, NJ house to adventurous trips to Disney World and Italy, Jack loved nothing more than spending quality time with his family. He was also an avid reader, enjoyed golfing, playing cards and collecting antiques. Jack was a devoted Catholic who was an active member of St. John Chrysostom for over 60 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosalie (Rosati), by his children, John (Andrea) Brennan, Carolyn (Joe) Narzikul, and Kimberly (preceded in death Andrew) Brenner. He is also survived by eight grandchildren who were the lights of his life: Alexa Narzikul, Joey Narzikul, Briana Narzikul, John A. Brennan, Lauren Brenner, Andrew Brenner, Jr., Katie Brennan and Olivia Brenner. Loving brother of Elaine (Karl) Vonderschmalz.
Friends and family are invited to Jack's funeral mass on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at St. John Chrysostom Church, 617 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086. There will be visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM prior to the church service which begins at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jack Brennan's memory to the Good Samaritan Ministry c/o St. John Chrysostom Church, 617 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086.
