Joanne P. Waters (nee Bair)
July 21, 1961 – September 14, 2026

Joanne Patricia Waters (nee Bair), 65, of Glenolden, Pennsylvania, passed away with her loving family by her side on September 14, 2026. Born on July 21, 1961, at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Josephine Bair (nee Colombo).

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Waters; her sons, Zachary Waters and David Bair; and her brother, Steven Bair. She is survived by her adoring children: daughters Christen Waters and Caitlin Waters, and sons Justin Waters and P.J. Brinton. She was the cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren whom she adored: Connor, Sophia, Justin Jr., Cameron, Emma, Bella, Madison, and Camryn. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Thomas and Kathy Hughes, and her brother, Robert Bair. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends whom she loved dearly.

Joanne graduated from Interboro High School, Class of 1979. She went on to earn her cosmetology license and furthered her education by obtaining her cosmetology teaching license from the Gordon Phillips School of Beauty in 1980. She worked as a hairdresser for many years before switching to kitchen work prior to retiring. She was also a devoted friend of Bill W. for 27 years.

Joanne lived a life guided by faith, generosity, and love. All who knew her were inspired by her tenacity, sense of humor, and strength. She loved spending time with family and friends, cooking her delicious food for everyone, and nurturing her grandchildren more than anything else. She will be missed terribly by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist the family via her GoFundMe page. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
