Joanne E. Brown (nee McHugh), born on July 11, 1940. She passed away on February 28, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Joanne graduated from West Catholic Girls in 1958. She was employed by Sherwin William Paint in Media and Springfield. She was an active member of Nativity B.V.M., volunteered with her late husband, Ted, at Marriage Encounter and worked for the Nativity food collection program. Joanne was a member of the Media Ladies Auxiliary, the Rose Tree Ladies Auxiliary, and Nativity Seniors. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, loved going to rosary, but Joanne found most joy being Mom Mom to her 6 grandchildren and Great-Mom Mom to her 6 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Ted; Joanne is survived by her 2 children Kevin M. Brown (Kathleen) of Media, PA and Karen Anne Ranieri (Michael) of Springfield, PA. 6 grandchildren, Matthew (Veronica), Daniel (Mary), Timothy (Alexandra), Ryan, Tyler (Michaela) and Becca (Daniel). 6 great-grandchildren, Becky, Dylan, Aubrey, Luke, Ava and Zoey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Caring Hospice, 400 Commerce Dr. C, Fort Washington, PA 19034.

Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. March 10th, 2025 at Nativity B.V.M., 30 E. Franklin Street, Media, PA. Friends and family may call from 10-11 a.m. prior to the Mass.
