Joan M. Jensen, age 93 years, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025 at Paoli Hospital.  Wife of the late Kenneth H. Jensen, they were married for 58 years before his passing in 2011.  Mrs. Jensen was the daughter of the late Alfred and Helen Flynn Timmons. She grew up in Philadelphia and graduated Bartram High School.  She raised her family in Collingdale where she resided for 53 years. She later moved to Garnet Valley, PA then West Chester.  Joan was a proud homemaker who volunteered for years at Little Flower Manor in Darby, PA.

She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, decorating, cooking and writing poetry. Shopping at Boscov's and enjoying a pleasant meal at Olive Garden were 2 of her favorite pleasures. Mrs. Jensen was the mother of the late Kenny Jensen (Michele) of Collingdale, PA and sister of the late Barbara Higgins and the late Edward Timmons.

Survivors: Son Mark Jensen (Lynn) of Spring City and daughter Linda Jensen Pappas (Richard) of Collingdale, she has 7 grandchildren Kenny, Jackie, Doug, Nick, Matt, Jake, and Richard. Also survived by her 7 great-grandchildren Roman, Olivia Joan, Emma, John Michael, Jackson, Rowen and Riley, and her sister Hedy Roche of Doylestown.

Service: There will be a funeral mass in the church of St. Gabriel, Norwood, PA on Friday September 19, 2025. There will be a calling from 10-11 am in the church followed by mass at 11 am.
