Joan A. Behl, a resident of Plush Mills in Wallingford, passed away on May 6, 2024.  She was 85 years old. A lifelong resident of Delaware County, Ms. Behl was born and raised in Boothwyn where she resided most of her life.  Joan was one of four children born to the late Alphonse and Elizabeth (nee Roddy) Behl.

Upon graduating from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, Ms. Behl embarked upon a lengthy and fulfilling career as a claims secretary for State Farm Insurance Company. Joan was a longtime parishioner of St. John Fisher Parish in Boothwyn before more recently joining St. Kevin's Parish in Springfield.  In her free time, Joan loved to golf and looked forward to weekends at the Jersey Shore.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her siblings Dolores Garvey, Jim Behl, and Bob Behl.  She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15th at St. Kevin's Catholic Church with a visitation in the church from 10–11 a.m.  (200 W. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064).
