Jane Melrath Graves, age 66 lost her battle to liver cancer on November 16th, 2023. She was born in Chester, PA, on December 7th, 1956. Predeceased by her parents Mary C. Morris and Richard W. Melrath and brother James W. Melrath. Jane was a graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology and a dedicated long-time resident of Wallingford, PA. She was not only a cherished mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend but a source of warmth and joy for everyone fortunate enough to be in her life. Jane is survived by her husband Thomas Graves of 42 years and her daughter Olivia Graves.

In addition to her immediate family, Jane is survived by her siblings Richard S., Robert., Charles N. (Roxanne), Marybeth (John), and Victoria Torello. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend to many, with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Jane's life was characterized by her passion for arts and crafts, baking, and gardening. She found immense joy in creating and sharing special moments with her family, particularly during the holidays. Her selflessness knew no bounds, always putting others first without hesitation. In loving memory of Jane, may her legacy be a blessing to us all.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday January 13th, 2024, at 11 AM at North Chester Baptist Church 2331 Providence Ave Chester, PA 19013.

A Beef and Beer Benefit will be held to raise money for the family of Jane and all proceeds will go towards her funeral costs and medical bills. The benefit will be held Saturday January 20th, 2024, from 2 PM-4 PM at Duffer's Mill 1600 Naamans Creek Rd, Marcus Hook, PA 19061.
