James K. Hardy   (Sarge)

Passed away April 7, 2026 in Fort Myers, Florida.  Born and raised in Wilmington Delaware, He was a career United States Marine. Mr. Hardy retired as an E-6 Gunnery Sergeant.  After his Honorable discharge he enjoyed a second career working as head of operations with the Wallingford - Swarthmore School District for 16 years.  Sarge as he was called by his friends and family believed in physical fitness and enjoyed long distance biking on a daily basis. He would often do 5 Mile trips twice a day.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years  Antoinette Hardy and his step son Rickey Cressy and his 4 step grandchildren.

Family and friends may call Saturday  April 25, 2026 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at The Rigby Harting and Hagan Funeral Home  15 E. Fourth St. Media, Pa.  There will be a condensed prayer service at 10;30 AM  Burial in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery will follow where there will be a military tribute service
