James J. Haggerty    "JOE"

Joe Haggerty  passed away December 21, 2021 at CCMC in Chester.  Born in Philadelphia, he grew up in Bryn Mawr, PA where he went to Our Mother of Good Counsel grade school and then Lower Merion High School.  He was a self-employed contractor in Media, PA and received a valued education from Williamson Trade School.  As a contractor he was a Jack of All Trades with many loyal customers.  Joe was a jokester who enjoyed magic tricks.  He was a collector of hidden treasures and his motto was  "if you break it, I can fix it".  He was proud of his Irish heritage and loved to party and enjoy each day as it came.

Joe is survived by his wife Lynne Mullin and his 3 children Beth Ann Murphy, Jay Haggerty and Janice Carr   6 grandchildren Erin, Brian, Joseph, Declan, Steven and Shane.  He is also survived by his sister Mary Gallagher along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service we private due to Covid concerns, there will be a memorial party announced when final arrangements are completed.
