Jack Stehle, age 68, devoted husband and father, passed away on October 4, 2024 at Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Son of the late John and Helen (nee Bruckner) Stehle, Jack was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. He was a 1975 graduate of Father Judge High School and obtained his BS in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979. Jack was a lifelong avid learner and had a keen interest in technology. He worked for many years with Lockheed Martin as a Development Manager and for AstraZeneca as an Innovation Manager.
Jack and his wife, Susan, were formerly of Abington and have lived in Hockessin, DE for nearly 25 years. Jack was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Hockessin. Always supportive of his children and their interests, Jack volunteered with the Scouts and was a proud supporter of Autism Delaware.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Susan (nee Eagan); his children Michael Stehle of Hockessin, Shannon Stehle of Dover, and Christopher Stehle of Hockessin; and his in-laws Linda Valentino, Theresa & John Hoffman, and Eileen & Pat Larr. He was preceded in death by his siblings Mariellen J. Dvoretsky and David W. Stehle.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 11 at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church at 11 am. There will be a visitation in the church from 10-11am. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Hockessin.
