Irma Krassner, recently of Media and formerly of New York, died peacefully at Sterling Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center on June 14, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Charles Krassner, Irma was born and raised in Manhattan to the late Joseph and Rose (nee Miller) Billet.  Irma resided in New York for over 90 years before moving to the Media and Chadds Ford area to be with her family.

Irma was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She worked in customer service and sales for many years both with Newsday and Manufacturers Hanover Corporation. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and going to the casino.  Irma loved catching up with friends and family on the telephone and finding a nice spot to relax and people watch.

She is survived by her children Linda Greenzang (Brian) of Chadds Ford, PA and Richard Krassner (Karen) of Bellmore, NY; grandchildren Brian Greenzang, Devin Greenzang, and Roman Krassner; and great-grandchildren Benjamin Greenzang and Julia DiPadova.

A celebration of Irma's life will be held on Saturday, June 17th, 2:00 pm at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St. Media, PA 19063.
