Helen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed much success in her career in financial services and was an avid reader especially of history, as well as a great supporter of floral gardening and art, and a gourmet cook.

Daughter of the late Thaddeus Andrew Borz and Helen (née Skorupski), Helen spent her formative years in Merchantville, NJ. She graduated from Merchantville High School in 1956 and continued her studies at the University of Pennsylvania where she obtained a BA degree in English in 1960. Helen embraced motherhood, raising three boys. She began her financial services career at E. F. Hutton in 1984 and soon moved to Merrill Lynch, ultimately retiring in 1998 as a Vice President. Helen married Melbourne Fernald Giberson in 1986 and the two enjoyed 37 wonderful years together.

During retirement, Helen remained active through volunteer work and serving on various boards. She worked as a Docent at Philadelphia Museum of Art for the Historic Houses in Fairmount Park from 2000-2015. She was a board member and financial advisor to Fondazione Ranieri de Sorbello, a small yet important house museum in Perugia, Italy. She was a Past-President of Twin Valleys Garden Club in Chester County, as well as a Past President of Questers, Conestoga Chapter 63 in Paoli, PA. She also was a Docent at Waynesborough, the historic house museum of Gen. Anthony Wayne, in Paoli, PA.

Helen is survived by her husband, Melbourne; children Dennis J. McHenry, Jr. (Sandra) of Clifton Forge, VA, Andrew C. McHenry (Kimberly Perron) of Stuart, FL, Geoffrey S. McHenry (Susan) of Vienna, VA; and six grandchildren James, Chris & Megan McHenry and Jessica, Matthew & Julianne McHenry.
