Helen Carney, age 74, passed away suddenly at home on February 2, 2026. She was the beloved mother of Katie, grandmother to John and Sarah and fiancé and life partner of John Kearney.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Helen was the daughter of Helen and Frank Hagan. She graduated from Holy Child in Sharon Hill in 1969 and St. Joseph's University in 1974. She began her career as an elementary school teacher at St. Laurence School and later taught at St. Gabriel School.

Helen lived in Middletown Township for many years where she raised her daughter, Katie and made many lifelong friendships. She was a lover of all animals and had many beloved pets throughout the years. She was a skilled sewer and had a great appreciation for fashion. She enjoyed tending to her garden, playing the piano and was an avid reader. In recent years, Helen volunteered as an aide at White Horse Village.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Williams (Sean) of Tampa, FL and her two grandchildren John and Sarah. She is also survived by her fiancé and life partner of 15 years, John Kearney.

Helen's funeral will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Rigby, Harting & Hagan Funeral Home. There will be a visitation from 10-11 am followed by a service at 11 am.
