Harry Murphy, age 80, a longtime resident of Glenolden, PA, died on November 12, 2020 at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital.  Born in Philadelphia and raised in Springfield, PA, Harry was the son of the late Henry and Margaret Murphy.  He was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School.

Harry worked in law enforcement, initially as a patrol man with the Springfield Police, and for twenty years as a Captain with the Department of Defense.  In his free time he enjoyed playing golf.

Harry was the father of David (Theresa) of Arizona, Lane, Annmarie (Chip) of Folcroft, Hank of Glenolden, and Sean of Glenolden.  He is survived by 5 loving grandchildren.

Services will be private and burial at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery will be at a later date.
