Obituary

Gregory Andrew Rozanski, 49, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, after a short illness. He was born in Middletown Township, PA, on August 28, 1976, to Dennis Rozanski and Beth (Rozanski) Lawn. Greg graduated from Penncrest High School and later earned his degree in history from West Chester University. He dedicated his professional life to the Social Security Administration, where he served as a Technical Expert and was known for his insight, diligence, and deep commitment to the people he helped.

In 2002, Greg married Rebecca Tomczak, the sister of his best friend, Nicholas. Their marriage was a source of great joy and strength, and together they welcomed their son, Jackson, in 2012. In addition to his parents, stepmother Marianne, wife, and son, Greg is survived by his brother, Russell (Aleksandra) Rozanski; in-laws, John and Kathleen Tomczak; brothers-in-law Nicholas and John (Rachel) Tomczak; six nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends all who were blessed by his presence.

Greg was an outgoing person who made friends easily. He had a keen mind, a ready wit, and a deep interest in politics and world affairs, which he shared freely and thoughtfully. He welcomed opposing viewpoints and was always eager for a spirited but respectful discussion. His strong sense of justice and deep empathy guided not only his conversations but also the way he lived his life.

Greg's intelligence was exceeded only by his kindness and courage. At 25, he survived an accident that left him a quadriplegic, a challenge he met with unwavering grace and determination. Never bitter or self-pitying, with his devoted wife, Becca, by his side, Greg faced hardship with remarkable resilience. He consistently put the needs of others before his own, earning the admiration and loyalty of not only friends and family but also coworkers, caregivers, and medical staff—many of whom became like family.

Greg's life was defined by love, perseverance, and generosity of spirit. His absence leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6 at 3:00, with visitation at 2:00. Interment will be private.
