Glenn J. Brooks Sr., age 66, passed away in Oxford, surrounded by family, on January 27, 2023. A longtime resident of Aston, Glenn was a loving husband, devoted father and proud grandfather.

Born and raised in Chester, Glenn was the son of the late Duer and Verna (née Langdale) Brooks . He graduated from Chester High School in 1974. Glenn worked for Kimberly Clarke for 46 years where he worked in the control room as a Level 6.

As a young man, Glenn volunteered as a fireman and was always involved with his children's activities. He coached tee ball, Little League, and deck hockey for years. He was at home in the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. He watched outdoor and fishing/hunting shows and enjoyed video games.

Glenn loved God and his family. He was an all-around great guy.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Donna M. Brooks (née Begley); children Glenn Brooks Jr. (Emily) of Aston and Amanda Brooks (Eric) of Delaware; granddaughter, Ava; and sister, Jane Brooks of Cochranville.

A private graveside service will be held by the family.
