Geraldine "Gerry" Gloria Simboli (née Cox) passed away at age 84 on July 26, 2019 at her home in Cheyney, PA, surrounded by her husband and five children.  Her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph Simboli, survives her.

Gerry graduated from Philadelphia Museum School of Art.  Her long career as a brilliant artist included positions as Art Director for Ladies' Home Journal, Art Director at Longwood Gardens and Illustrator for the Franklin Mint.  A lover of beauty, she saw the world through a lens of colors, lines, shapes, and textures.  Gerry's unique vision was vibrantly woven into her graphic designs, illustrations, paintings, woodworks and collages, as well as into her home.  Gerry and Joseph often collaborated, blending their talents into beautiful works of wood and stone.

Gerry was pivotal in Rachel's Vineyard post-abortion healing retreats for 25 years and she participated in pro-life prayer groups.  The many people deeply affected by Gerry's love and attention remain as testament to her diligent service.

She led a rich life centered on faith, creativity and service to others, most of all her family.  Everyone who interacted with Gerry was touched by her vibrant, caring spirit.  She left us with many wonderful memories of a loving, talented woman and a life well-lived.

The viewing and funeral will be held on August 1 ^st 2019 at Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA, where Gerry was a parishioner.  Viewing is from 10:30 to 11:30 and Mass begins at 11:30.  Gerry will then be laid to rest at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA.
