Geraldine E. Politowski   née Bateman  (Gerry)

Passed away March 19, 2023 with her family at her side. Gerry was raised in Media and Norristown, PA and later made her home in Collingdale and Darby, PA.  She graduated with a nursing degree and worked as an RN Nurse at Prospect Park Care Center and Bryn Mawr Terrace as a charge nurse. She was also employed by PRISM where she taught CNA's.

Gerry was a member of First Lutheran Church of Collingdale and the Garden Church in Lansdowne, PA  Her likes included crochet work and sewing; she had a fondness for frogs; but her true pleasure came from helping the elderly in her geriatric nursing career.  In her formative years, Gerry was an active member of the Media Fawns, an all girls drum and bugle corps.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years Robert Politowski, her 2 daughters Andrea Feeser (Robert) and Nannette Burnette. She is the grandmother of Reiliyana Kallisti, Devin Feeser, Nolan Feeser, Dylan Tippy and Andrew Tippy. She is the sister of Paul Bateman (Betty) and Mary Brusstar (Kent).

Funeral service will be Saturday 1:30 PM at The Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St.  Media, PA. Friends may call one hour prior to the service  (12:30 - 1:30 ).
