Georgia S. Borror (née Shirley), age 82, died peacefully on March 8, 2023 at Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler. She was born in Burlington, WV to the late Hattie (née Davis) and Virgil Shirley. Georgia was the beloved wife of the late Marvin K. Borror who preceded her in death in 2018 after 59 years of marriage.

Georgia spent her early years in Keyser, WV and graduated from Keyser High School in 1958.  She and Marvin moved to Chambersburg, PA where they lived for over 5 decades.  Georgia enjoyed a 30 year career as a nurse with South Mt. Restoration Center.  She was a loving mother and proud grandmother who treasured time spent with family and friends.  Georgia enjoyed baking and canning.  She had wonderful memories camping and traveling with her husband. She loved gardening, cultivating wild flowers, and nature walks.

Georgia is survived by her children William L. Borror (Laura) of Arlington, VT and Elizabeth B. Stahli (Sam) of Falling Waters, WV; 5 grandchildren Benjamin Borror (Nicole), Adam Borror (Laura), Jonathan Borror (Randi), Peter Borror (Leigh), and Brian Stahli; and 6 great-grandchildren Benjamin Jr., Abigail, Dominic, Victor, Jackson and Asher. She is also survived by her sister, Thelma S. Hoffman of Barstow, CA and nieces Cindy Hoffman, Linda Salem and Holly Shipley.
