George Albert Wolhafe III, age 50, died suddenly on August 27, 2023. He was a resident of West Chester, PA and formerly of Ridley Park.  A graduate of Ridley High School, George studied plumbing at Delaware County Community College and later obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Gwynedd Mercy College. He worked as the director of facilities with Kennett Consolidated School District.

George was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Louis La France.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Laura (née La France), and four children Nicholas, Gretchen, Grace, and Nathan. He is also survived by his parents, Linda and George A. Wolhafe II; siblings, Michelle Barr, Stacia Hartley, and Jennifer Jennings; his mother-in-law, Sally La France; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to visitation hours at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E.
