George Robert Gragg, Jr., age 79, died peacefully at home in the presence of his beloved family on November 20, 2024. George was a longtime resident of Media, PA and proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was the devoted husband of Maryelizabeth "Liz" and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed.

George was born in Cincinnati, OH to the late George R. Gragg, Sr. and Theresa (nee Mastronardo).  He spent his childhood years in Philadelphia graduating from St. Gabriel School and Bishop Neumann High School.  George studied at the National School of Surgical Technology and enjoyed a long career with Riddle and Taylor Hospitals as a surgical technologist. As his career progressed, George found great pleasure in sharing his skillset with younger technologists in the field.

George loved target shooting, camping, riding motorcycles and working on old cars.  He enjoyed his music and always read the Bible.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Liz Gragg; his children Cindi Dymowski (Joe) of Philadelphia, Christine Hasson (John) of Media, Nicole Gragg of Stuart, FL, Elizabeth Elizardi (Jeff) of Wayne, Allison Hayick of Media, and Kevin Gragg of Media.  He was preceded in death by his son George Gragg III.  George is also survived by his ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

George's funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home.  Friends and family are invited to a calling from 10-11 followed by the service at 11 am.
