Florence Marie Bright
January 23, 1937 – November 20, 2025
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Florence Marie Bright entered into eternal rest on November 20, 2025, at the age of 88, surrounded by her devoted daughter, Toni Marie, who lovingly cared for her throughout her illness.
Florence was born on January 23, 1937, in Fraser, Pennsylvania, and raised in Rosemont, where she graduated from Conestoga High School. From a young age, Florence faced many complexities and challenges, circumstances that shaped her life in significant ways and often made the path forward difficult for her and her children. Yet through it all, she continued with quiet perseverance and strength.
After her marriage to Thomas E. Bright in the small community of Ardmore, Florence became an active member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where she remained for more than 20 years. She worked for many years as a nurse's aide, serving with compassion for several companies and also provided private duty care.
Following the death of her husband, Florence moved to Delaware County with her daughter, Toni, where they made their home in Collingdale. She later became a member of St. Joseph Parish, where she enjoyed time spent with the Collingdale Senior Club.
Florence lived a full and active life. She enjoyed swimming and bowling and remained an avid bowler throughout her life. Florence truly loved going to the hairdresser and playing bingo, finding joy in these moments of connection and routine. Known for her warmth and quiet resilience, she carried herself with dignity and faith even amid life's struggles.
Florence is survived by her children Larry Conroy, Walter Jasinski, and Toni Marie Jasinski; four stepdaughters; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas E. Bright.
