Ellen Woodward, 79, of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on December 28, 2020. Ellen was born on November 11, 1941 to the late Carl Lee and Mary Helen Lacy in Charlottesville, Virginia. Ellen went on to marry, Jesse Woodward. From this marriage they were blessed with three children, Beverly, Daniel and William.

Ellen worked as a Nurse Assistant, Switch Board Operator and a Nanny. She also volunteered as a poll worker for many years. She was a devoted member of St. Gerorge's Episcopal Church in Ardmore. She had many hobbies which were not limited to knitting, cross stitch, woodworking, crossword puzzles and many various craft activities. She also loved to fish and spend time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, Carl and Mary Lacy, and her loving daughter, Beverly Woodward-Dalstrom.

Ellen leaves behind two cherished sons, Daniel Woodward and William Woodward both of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and her son in law Robert Dalstrom of Virginia. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Jackie, Daniel, Lacy, Nicholas, Shane and Mason as well as a great granddaughter, Lily. In addition to her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter, Ellen leaves behind two sisters, Joyce Galloway and Renee Moore, her cousin, Suzanne Plattner as well as a host of other cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family is asking that contributions be made in her memory to St. George's Episcopal Church.
