Obituary - Elizabeth "Beth" (nee Miller) Morton, 80, of Media, PA, died January 30, 2024 at her home of 40 years. Born in Drexel Hill and raised in Springfield she was a graduate of Springfield High's class of '61. Beth was an Administrative Assistant at IBM for 25 years, retiring in 2007. While living in Springfield and raising her family, Beth was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and the Springfield Welcome Wagon. She enjoyed reading, was an enthusiastic entertainer, an accomplished cook and grew prize tomatoes in her garden. Through the years there were always animal companions. Her love of dogs gave way to a fondness for cats as well. Wife of James A. Morton who died in 1983, she later married and leaves behind her husband of 15 years George E. Heinly, Jr. her son Drew (Ann) Morton, her daughter, Kristin (K.C.) McCloskey and grandchildren Kace, Andrew, Jay and Joey.

Her Funeral will be 1:30 pm Tuesday at the Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington Cemetery

Visitation: Tuesday, February 6, 2024, 12:45 pm

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026

Contributions: in her memory to Providence Animal Shelter, would be preferred
