Eleanore Watts, age 74, a resident of Wayne, PA, passed away on October 8, 2025 at Paoli Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Ellie was the eldest of seven children born to the late Harold and Charlotte (nee Montelin) Ruben.  Born in Roslyn, NY she spent her childhood years in Holliswood, NY before moving to Chester County PA and graduating from Conestoga High School.  Ellie continued her education at Temple University where she studied piano.  She enjoyed a career as a pianist and organist and held a number of office and other jobs. She enjoyed teaching many private piano students through the years.  She found special joy in being an accompanist for West Chester Area Community Chorus.

Ellie's super-powers were communication and curiosity, humor, and kindness.  She made everyone she spoke with feel that they were both the most important and most interesting person she encountered. For her they were. She was the glue which held her large family together. She was a central figure on her street - both neighbor and friend to everybody.

Ellie is survived by four sisters, two brothers, three nieces, four nephews, four grand-nephews, and four grand-nieces, whom she treasured. She was predeceased by one beloved niece.
