Edward R. Lanciano, 65, passed away peacefully at his home on June 6, 2025.

Born and raised in Brookhaven, Ed was a proud graduate of Sun Valley High School, where he was a champion wrestler and a standout linebacker. He later settled in Glenolden, where he owned and operated a successful plumbing and heating business. Ed moved to Media several years ago where he continued his business and his love for outdoor adventures.

He was predeceased by his loving mother, RoseMarie Lanciano (née Schipani). He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Melisiotis (Thanos), and grandchildren. He is also survived by his father, Rocco Lanciano; sister, Liz Carlson-Highfield (Rick) and nephew, Ricky; brother, David Lanciano (Irene) and nephews, David and Patrick.

Ed found his greatest peace on the water. His happiest days were spent cruising and sharing those moments with friends and loved ones.

Burial will be private, in accordance with the family's wishes.
