Obituary

Douglas Eugene Williams (Doug) passed away suddenly at Pottstown Memorial Hospital on Tuesday morning, October 3, 2023. He was 61 years old.

Doug was born on August 8, 1962, in Johnson City, NY, and was the son of Regina (Wheeldon) Williams and Myron Williams of Crossville, TN, who preceded him in death. His nephew Michael Wolff and sister-in-law Sandra McNabb also preceded him in death.

Doug is survived by his wife Christine (McNabb) Williams. They were married on December 30, 1989. Other surviving members include his two sisters Teri (Williams) Wolff (Bruce Wolff and son Brian Wolff) and Sheila (Williams) Hill (and Mike Hill).

Doug is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Victoria McNabb McIntosh (Greg McIntosh) and Jennifer McNabb Jones (Adam Jones, nephew Neacail McNabb, and nieces Vanessa Jones and Virginia Jones).

Doug attended school in the Johnson City, NY area until he transferred to Manor High School at Devereaux in Devon, PA, where he graduated in 1983. Later, Doug graduated from NHS, OTR Truck Driving School in 1995.

Over his career, Doug worked as a waiter, maintenance technician, and truck driver. Most recently, he was a warehouse employee at Mid-Atlantic Packaging in Montgomeryville, PA. He enjoyed his work at Mid-Atlantic Packaging and was well-liked and appreciated by his supervisor and co-workers.

Most importantly, Doug was a caring, dedicated son, brother, husband, and uncle with a strong faith in the Lord, and he was a wonderful prayer friend to his wife, Christine.

Doug had a kind and friendly personality, and he was a caring pet-daddy to the many rescue pups he and Christine welcomed into their home over the years.

Doug is, and will eternally be, deeply and painfully missed until we meet him again in Heaven… ❤️
