Diane Helen
Wall
d. Dec 19, 2023
Diane Helen Wall (nee Hoon), a beacon of love and joy, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 73 on December 19, 2023. Born on March 19, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to her loving parents Marjorie and Earl, Diane's vibrant spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew her.
Diane graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1968, where she was known for her infectious smile and generous nature. Her professional journey started at Scott Paper Company where she made lasting friendships and even met her husband. Later in life Diane found her true personal and professional calling in her jewelry business when she met her Cookie Lee sisters. Her ability to connect with everyone she met made her a beloved member of her community.
In her personal life, Diane was a loving mother, partner, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Kristin Quinn, her son-in-law, Paul, and her cherished granddaughter, Ellie, who were the light of her life. Diane's love and laughter were pillars in their lives, and her legacy will continue to shine through them. She also leaves behind her devoted partner, Adelbert Glennon, with whom she shared many happy moments and adventures. Diane was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Wall, and her husband, Michael Wall, both of whom she spoke of with enduring love and affection.
Diane's interests were as vibrant and varied as her personality. She loved dancing and could often be found twirling and grooving at local events. Her passion for water zumba was not only a testament to her love for staying active but also a reflection of her playful spirit. Diane was also an avid shopper, always on the lookout for the perfect gifts to bring joy to her family and friends. But above all, her favorite pastime was playing with her granddaughter, Ellie, where she found immense joy and purpose.
Friends and family will remember Diane as a loving, kind, and spirited individual. Her ability to light up a room with her presence will be deeply missed. Diane's warmth, compassion, and unwavering positivity are the hallmarks of her memory. She approached life with an open heart and an unshakable belief in the goodness of others, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Diane's life, while too short, was lived to the fullest. Her impact on the world is immeasurable, and her memory will be honored and preserved in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were graced by her kindness.
As we bid farewell to Diane, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit dances on, guiding us with the same love and joy she shared so generously in life. Her journey on earth has ended, but her story continues in the memories we hold dear, in the laughter of her granddaughter, and in the love that she sowed in the hearts of many. Diane, you will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten.
