It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Black on October 8, 2024. Born on December 31, 1957. Daughter of the late Thomas & Lois Flynn.
Diane leaves behind her beloved husband of 44 years, Dave Black; daughter, Emily; and grandson, Colton.
Survived by her sisters Joyce McGuire and Beverly Flynn.

She was a devoted employee of Springfield Opticians having spent decades in the optical industry.
Diane's greatest joy was becoming a Mom to Emily and Nana to Colton.

She loved the beach and spending time in her pool. She was a true Philadelphia sports fan, Flyers, Eagles and Phillies. Diane was known for her sense of humor and no-nonsense attitude. You ALWAYS knew where you stood with her.
We will miss her all the days of our lives.

A service will be held on Saturday, October 12th at Advent Lutheran Church, 1601 Green Lane, West Chester, PA 19382.  There will be a gathering beginning at 10 am with the service to follow at 11 am.
