Dennis A. Bogardus, age 69, a longtime resident of Media, PA, passed away on May 16, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia to the late Donald and Doris (née Alloway) Bogardus, Dennis was raised in Newtown Square where he graduated from Marple Newtown High School.  For nearly 40 years he was a dedicated warehouseman at VWR Scientific (currently Avantor).  Dennis was a devoted son, father, and brother.  He lived with his son, Christopher, and treasured their time together.  He enjoyed summer days in Ocean City, NJ.

Dennis is survived by his son, Christopher; his dear friend and former spouse, Irene O'Connor; siblings Carol Bogardus Starunko of VT and Charles Bogardus (Gloria) of NC; and his nieces, nephews & grandnephews.

Services will be held Saturday, May 22 ^nd at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home in Media.  There will be a visitation from 10-11 am. The memorial service will begin at 11 am.
