David MaCleod Taylor, age 67, a resident of Wallingford, PA, passed away at Riddle Hospital on November 1, 2025.

David was one of three children born to the late Charlotte (née Morgan) and Jake Taylor in Penn Wynne, PA.  His childhood years were spent in Wallingford. Forever an animal lover, he enjoyed raising and breeding his Golden Retrievers Jen & Geoff. He was a talented athlete and starred in soccer at Nether Providence High School. He went on to study accounting and finance at Widener University.  David enjoyed a long and successful career as an accountant and served as CFO for both Lincoln Holdings, Inc. and Chancellor Properties, Inc.

David was the beloved husband of Leslie (née Grey). They were married for 42 years. Together they had three children.  David enjoyed the simple things in life.  He looked forward to walks in the park with his dogs, spending time at home with family, and outings with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie; and his children Stephen Taylor (Chelsea) of Silver Spring, MD, Lauren Herod (Darryl) of Downingtown, PA, and Garrett Taylor of West Chester, PA.  He was a proud grandfather to Colson Taylor Herod, Miles Bennett Herod, and Cameron David Herod. David is also survived by two sisters, Leslie Taylor of Swarthmore, PA and Wendy Taylor of Bellevue, WA.

A celebration of David's life will be held on Tuesday, November 11th at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home.  There will be a visitation from 10-11 am. At 11 am the immediate family will reflect on David's life and share stories and memories.
