Daniel Dara Thach “Stitch” passed away on June 4, 2026.

Daniel was born in Renton, Washington on June 18, 1983 where he lived until his family moved to Media, Pennsylvania in 1994.

Daniel was a graduate of Penncrest High School class of 2001 where he was involved in soccer and Civil Air Patrol. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After his service, he went on to work various jobs, his most rewarding and passionate job being a DJ and karaoke host.

He had love for martial arts, anime and fantasy, sushi pizza, singing, Dungeons & Dragons, and playing the role of LARP King. He enjoyed playing Magic the Gathering with his friends and spending time with his nephew Kaysen which always included some type of asian cuisine.

Daniel took pride in attending the Greater Philadelphia- Out Of The Darkness Walk every year to raise awareness for suicide prevention and support those suffering from mental health issues.

Daniel is survived by his parents; Sareth Thach (Lynna) and Cheryl Thach (Doris Lord). Sister Samantha Thach. Nephews Kaysen & Roman Shortall. Various aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who he considered family.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St. Media, PA, on Friday, June 19th from 4-6 pm followed by a service at 6 pm. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention.
