Concha N. Montoya, a longtime resident of Tortugas, NM and more recently of Morton, PA, died peacefully on February 25, 2023.  A woman of great faith, Concha will be deeply missed by her loving family as she is reunited with her husband of 68 years, Willie Montoya, and her grandson, Benjie "BJ" Montoya who preceded her in death.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

Concha was born and raised in Morenci, AZ. She and her husband, Willie, settled in Tortugas, NM where they raised their three sons.  Concha was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed gardening, painting, and embroidery.  She loved playing Bingo and had a great appreciation for music and singing.  She was a member of the church choir at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Tortugas and became a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help when she moved to Morton.  Concha loved her family and looked forward to her annual Navarette family reunions in Arizona.

She is survived by her three sons W. Chris Montoya (Louise A. Montoya) of Morton, PA, Ricky J. Montoya of Hobbs, NM, and Freddy "Benji" Montoya of Hobbs, NM; grandchildren Stephanie Valdez, Bernadette Montoya, Christopher Montoya, Dominique Montoya, and Krystal Montoya; also her sister Carmina Garcia of Safford, AZ.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced when scheduled.
