Chuck Modesto, age 69, died at home surrounded by his loving family on March 23, 2021.  He was the beloved husband of Kathy Modesto and father to Christopher John Modesto (Carol Bilardo) of Prospect Park.  Chuck was a thirteen-year resident of Glenolden and a former longtime resident of Collingdale.  Born and raised in Chester to the late Jacquline (nee Foreman) and Charles Frances Modesto, Chuck was a graduate of Chester High School.

For the majority of his career Chuck worked as a type setter for G-Com along with various other companies.  He was employed by Quest for seven years before his retirement in 2018. Chuck absolutely loved Philadelphia sports especially the Eagles and looked forward to days spent on the beach every summer. He had a great appreciation for sunsets and was a lover of animals.

In addition to his wife and son, Chuck is survived by his siblings Charli Hall of Gunterville, AL and Joyce McVey of Aston, PA along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

There will be a public viewing at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home on Saturday, March 27th from 9:00 - 10:15 am. Due to capacity limitations from Covid-19, a private service will be celebrated at 10:30 am with invited family members only.
