Charles A. Thomas

Age 63 years. Formerly of Media, Pa. passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024 at Little Flower Manor in Darby, Pa.  Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa. he was raised in Darby where he attended BVM grade school, then Monsignor Bonner High School. Charles also lived in Drexel Hill and Media Pa.  He was a former member of Nativity BVM Parish and was active with The St. Francis Fraternity of the Knights of Columbus in Springfield.  Charles was a man of deep faith.

After high school he was employed by Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital and later Swarthmore College.  He worked in environmental services for 16 years.

He is survived by his brother Thomas J. Thomas Jr. of Drexel Hill, Pa. 3 sisters Josita Starrs of Havertown, Pa. Twin sister Peggy Bonnes of Ridley Park, Pa. and Mary Durso of Havertown, Pa.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday (July 31, 2024)  12:00 Noon in the Church of St. Denis  2401 St. Denis Ln.  Havertown, Pa. calling in the church 11:00 - 12:00  before the mass.  Burial in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
