Charles J.DiPanni passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 97. He was a longtime resident of New Canaan and Wilton, Connecticut. He served as a Seaman 1st Class with the Navy on the USS Ottawa (AKA-101). Charles worked as a VP for New Canaan Fuel and Lumber for over 40 years. An active member of Rotary, Charles received his 50 year pin and was proud to say that he never missed a weekly meeting in 50 years.  He spent his retirement in Stuart, Florida.

Charles is survived by his son, Joseph DiPanni; sister, Sarah Napolotano; brother, Tony DiPanni; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 2nd at Lake View Cemetery, 352 Main Street in New Canaan, CT.
