Catherine Cardell Day, 60, of Springfield, PA, passed away peacefully on February 16th, 2026, at Lankenau Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Catherine is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Day, and her "Boys", Charles Day (Stephanie), Robert Day Jr., William Day, and Joseph Klinger (Kenny). She is also survived by her mother‑in‑law, Donna Day Brasch (Rick). Catherine held numerous titles in her lifetime, yet the one she cherished most was "Nana" to her granddaughter, Rosalie Wells Day (whom she fondly called "Sweet Girl" or "Blondie"), and to her grandson, Elijah James Klinger. Additionally, Catherine is survived by her siblings, Theresa Houston (Donald), Charles Cardell Jr. (Kristin), Diane Cardell, and Marjorie Ford (William), as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She will be welcomed with open arms in heaven by her father, Charles Wells Cardell Sr.; her Nana, Catherine Cecilia Kuhn; and her grandfather, Roland Kuhn.

Catherine was born on April 22, 1965. She grew up in Glenolden, PA, where she was a student and parishioner at St. George's Church and School. She later attended Interboro High School in Prospect Park, PA, graduating in June 1983. She worked in the automotive industry for 20 years as an accountant and office manager. Catherine was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church, where she generously dedicated her time to organizing the Holy Cross Carnival for many years.

At this time, the family is keeping close and cherishing one another. A memorial service will be announced at a future date.
