Catherine (Kay) Margaret Adamonis, 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family in San Diego, CA, on Friday, Jan.3, 2025. She was born June 16, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Charles and Catherine Delyne. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Peter Adamonis, her daughter, Deborah, and her son, Michael.

Kay is survived by her son, Rev. Pio(Peter) Adamonis, O.S.B., of Latrobe, PA, her daughter Lisa Kei, son-in-law Jonathan Kei and two grandsons Andrew and Cameron Kei, of San Diego, CA.

Kay was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a faith-filled Catholic whose quiet and simple life was an inspiration to those who knew her. She prayed the Rosary on a daily basis and will be missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, January 11 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd, Brookhaven, PA 19015; followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064.
