Carol P. (nee. Sopko) Brown, 73 of Drexel Hill, Pa, peacefully passed away April 15, 2025 at her home. Second of seven children born to Michael and Maria Sopko in Philadelphia, she was a longtime resident of Delaware County. A graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School, class of '70, she began work at Pepper's Pharmacy as a tech and it was there that she met her future husband, Robert Brown, the eventual owner of the pharmacy. Carol stayed home to raise her two children, then later worked as office manager for a physician's practice. She was an avid reader and enjoyed many poolside summers in Cape May with her grandchildren and friends. She loved to dine with her husband at The Lobster House, a sentimental favorite of Carol's.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Brown; children, Becky (Chris) Bassoline, Robert (Amber) Brown Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica and Christopher Bassoline, and step-children, Sandy & Tracy; Her service and burial were held privately at the Toppitzer Funeral Home and Arlington Cemetery.
