Carl E. West

age 73 years, of Glenolden, PA passed away peacefully on March 16, 2024.  Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA he made his home in Glenolden, PA for the last 46 years.  He was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School class of 1968.  His working life stated with Sun Ship working in the corporate warehouse for 16 years and later with V W R where he worked in the packing division for close to 20 years.
Carl was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church in Collingdale, PA   His interests included hunting, fishing and was an avid baseball fan.  Hunting with his dog was a pleasure he looked forward to.
Carl is survived by his wife of 46 years Anita Regina West. He is the father of Carl T. ( Michelle ), Jason, Katherine, and Patrick ( Christie ). Also survived by his 4 grandchildren and his brother Charles West.
Funeral Mass with be celebrated 10:30 AM Monday at St. Joseph's Church 500 Woodlawn Ave. Collingdale, PA 19023. Friends may call in the church 9:30 - 10:30 AM prior to the mass.  Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
