Bernhardine Malone, age 89, passed away peacefully at the Wayne Center Nursing Home on April 13, 2023. The beloved wife of the late James Malone, Bernhardine was recently of Phoenixville and formerly of West Chester.

Born and raised in Aschaffenberg, Germany, Ms. Malone immigrated to the United States where she obtained a degree in dental assistance and radiography from DCCC. She worked for many years as a dental assistant and radiographer all while lovingly raising her five children.

A gentle soul, Bernhardine had a connection with nature, animals, and people. She enjoyed long hikes and quiet hours in her garden. She was a lover of animals and treasured simple conversations with family and friends.

In addition to her husband of over thirty years, Berhardine was preceded in death by her son, Mark Malone of Chester County.

She is survived by her loving children, Robert Kopaczewski (Christine) of Bradford County, Patricia Henning of Secane, PA, Eugene Kopaczewski, and Michael Scott Kopaczewski of Bradford County, along with seven grandchildren.

Services will be private.
