Bernard J.
Reilly
d. Mar 30, 2024
Bernard J. Reilly passed away peacefully, at the active and independent age of 90, on March 30, 2024. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Janet Carey Reilly and Bernard D. Reilly. Also, his brother Jimmy, wife Marie and son, Jamie. He is survived by his brother Joe Reilly, sister Marian Garrity and Anne Pisani, brother-in-law Bob Muscella and daughter Tricia (PJ) Reilly.
He was playing golf just a few days ago and thoroughly enjoyed golf, tennis, track and field, women's college basketball and many other sports. He loved to read and listened to all types of music (really loud).
Bern served in the Army of the United States. Professionally, he worked in the fine paper and print industry and retained lifelong relationships with cherished colleagues.
Bern was known for his dry wit and humor, ability to see beauty in all things and for his unwavering and ceaseless care and support of Marie. He had an uncanny ability to make everyone he met, feel special.
To know him was to love him… oh Bern…
A celebration of Bernie's life will be held on Wednesday, April 10th at DiFabio's from 4p-7p, at 1243 N Providence Rd, Media, PA 19063. Please stop by to raise a glass if you are able.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to AISES.org ( https://secure.aises.org/forms/support ) (Advancing Indigenous People in Stem), in honor of Bernie's memory.
