Barbara A. Kleschick, age 89, a longtime resident of Media, PA died peacefully on December 24, 2019.  Barbara was born and raised in Springfield.  She lived in Havertown for 8 years before settling in Media where she and her husband, the late Joseph J. Kleschick, raised their children.

Barbara obtained her B.A. from Immaculata College. She was a proud homemaker and was involved in her community through extensive volunteer work at Riddle Hospital's Thrift Shop and later Riddle Village.  Barbara was a parishioner of St. Dennis while living in Havertown and of St. Mary Magdalen in Media for the last 53 years.

Barbara loved knitting, sewing and needle point, and occasionally quilting.  She was a wonderful cook and an avid bridge player.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph J. Kleschick, who died in 2015.

She is survived by her children Joseph J. Kleschick Jr. of Montrose, PA, Mary Ann Kleschick of Philadelphia, and Barabra A. (Kleschick) DiSipio of Media along with four grandchildren Joseph J. Kleschick, III, John A. Kleschick, Lily Q. Kleschick, and Renata Disipio.

Her funeral mass will be Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd. Media, PA.  Friends may call from 9:30 - 10:30. Mass will begin at 10:30.
